Lanark County provides a recreational paradise, featuring an abundance of indoor and outdoor recreational activities – tennis, squash, curling, hockey, skating, ball, soccer, lawn bowling, boating, fishing, golf, hiking (Cataraqui and Trans Canada Trails), biking, etc. We have scenic in-town walkways and numerous parks throughout the County. Lanark County offers a full range of outdoor recreational facilities and many organized sports such as soccer, hockey, baseball, and curling. Outdoor facilities include soccer pitches, baseball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts, jungle gyms and beach volleyball courts.


Throughout Lanark County there are Community Centres that provide the ideal location for winter sports activities and summer events including weddings, concerts, trade fairs and any other special event requiring a venue.
